New Equestrian training and teaching facilities for the Corio Campus in Victoria.
The Equestrian Centre is a major addition to the long established Corio campus of Geelong Grammar School and provides a new entry statement for the site. The covered riding arena, with viewing area and attached classroom, covered teaching and social spaces and associated equestrian infrastructure are an extension to the existing basic facility. The typical ‘shed’ type buildings which are necessarily part of such a development have been enhanced and softened by the use of timber and a variety of semi transparent materials.
