A new house in a beachside suburb with simple proportions and high quality materials delivered on a strict budget.
The clients approached C4 Architects with the number one objective being to design a house within a strict budget and that still achieved all the functional and aesthetic aims of the project. The house makes extensive use of recycled South Australian jetty timbers as well as other Australian hardwood cladding. The feature materials of rammed earth and exposed concrete slab to the living areas have been incorporated with an affordable architectural house.
