C4 Architects are a designed focused practice that have become leaders in providing customised design & build projects for their clients over the last 13 years. Established in 2003, the practice has offices in Adelaide, South Australia and Griffith, NSW and services an Australia wide folio of clients and projects. C4 Architects specialise in the design & construction of one-off Residential, Commercial and Equestrian projects using a unique collaborative approach with their clients that has resulted in a diverse range of projects of varying scales. The diversity of projects include, social, affordable & multiple housing, new homes & renovations, tourism, university & school buildings, sports & equestrian projects, hospitality & winery buildings, fitouts, master planning and integral landscape architecture,
ranging in budgets from $200k to $28.0m.
Sustainable Design
C4 Architects is committed to Ecologically Sustainable Design (ESD). We apply passive design principles, material selection and renewable energy strategies in ways that support the continuity of the natural environment. We encourage the adoption of environmental initiatives through all projects, from project inception, through construction to completion, and collaborate with building owners and users to assist in correct operation for the life cycle of the building. The practice’s attitude towards environmental design derives from having a love of the natural environment, and an understanding that a building should not disconnect itself from its environment, but should work with and intensify our relationship with it. Correct environmental design should lead to spaces which are more enjoyable to live and work in, more economical to run and therefore create better buildings.
